How to download torrents on VPN

I use a VPN (psiphon) to bypass blocked websites in my college. However I'm unable to download torrents using this VPN service. Does anyone know what to do?

You can simply use aldebrid, bytebx , zbigz etc for downloading torrent files via IDM without any restrictions . . .

Set up the VPN on Bittorrent, Torrent and (P2P) client

Please follow the UPnP configuration in µTorrent/Bittorrent client:

Step 1. You will have to go to "Options" and choose "Preferences" in the µTorrent/Bittorrent menu.

Step 2. Please check the following:

1. Enable UPnP port mapping
2. Enable NAT-PMP port mapping
3. Add Windows Firewall exception

Step 3. Click on "Random port" button and make sure you receive a port over 13000!

Step 4. Under Proxy server make sure you select "(none)".

Step 5. Click "Ok" button, and your torrent client is configured to use our VPN (P2P) servers.

Step 6. Once this is done you can start downloading torrents via our P2P servers, anonymous and secure. Enjoy!

Step 7. Known Fact: The speed will not be as high as your original ISP speed, it will be decreased due to some factors.

Step 8. *Recommendation*: After you finish downloading your torrent, exit your P2P client (µTorrent/Bittorrent in this case).

Step 9. Disconnect the VPN server only after you have closed the P2P client (µTorrent/Bittorrent in this case).

Using an android phone. Alldebrid crashes on adding the torrent file. Can't find bytebx and zbigz for android anywhere
