OnlineArmor.pngOnline Armor FREE is the only FREE firewall which offers 100% leak protection out of the box! It's easy to use, powerful - and completely free. Online Armor is straightforward, and simple to use. It includes powerful "HIPS" functions, which gives you the ability to stop all unrecognized programs from running on your computer unless you say so, making it possible to protect yourself against new threats. Of course, programs Online Armor knows are safe will be allowed to run, no problem. Your Antivirus will completely ignore programs it does not recognize - which unfortunately includes new viruses. But Online Armor is different to a pure Antivirus program - these let any program run, unless they know it is a virus.

Thanks to Bizarre™ for the update.

Thanks for the info - I didn't know anything about this app. But can one use this Online Armor and still have another AV installed and running? I use F-secure.

Sure! I am using the full version of Online Armor with Norton 360 and malwarebytes! No problems, but i use Online armor as the rules maker..... nothing can run without online armors "allow" at begin it sucks to set everything to "trust" but after you done it, its great... You can also protect processes from being terminated... For an example Malwarebytes doesnt have self defense so any malware which malwarebytes cant find can terminate malwarebytes but online armor can protect him so it cant be terminated..

Online armor is just great you have to try it out! But i dont know if the free version have all this functions too! :)

You should only run one AV and one firewall at a time. Since this program is a firewall, not an AV, it doesn't conflict with an AV program as long as you are not running an AV that also contains another firewall, like Eset Smart Security, for example. I don't know about F-secure, but if it doesn't have a firewall in it, you can run this program with it.

You can also run antispyware programs and also malwarebytes along with firewalls and a true AV program, btw.
