rach
Is it easy to install and use? It seems interesting but I have never tried it.
ande
Just watch one of yt videos "Install Arch Linux" and draw your own conclusion. You will need to invest some time (if you are not already familiar with linux environment), but essentially it's easy to install. It's time consuming distro, since you will need to configure few things on your own, and it's not that stable, in my case with every major update I needed to reconfigure nvidia, which can be very annoying. On the other hand you avoid bloatware - for performance and minimalism oriented is a must.Arch repo is great, very fresh (sometimes unstable and buggy) and contains all major programs, some are available almost exclusively on Arch, which saves you from compiling from source - can be quite annoying. brain_death
Arch has been my desktop distro of choice for some years now, but you could never describe it as easy at first. It is not a distro for noobs, but you'll learn a lot and will know you are using the most cutting-edge Linux out there...The *best* features are the total flexibility, just adding what you want to use, instead of removing what you don't need as with most operating systems. Also Arch is a rolling release and so *theoretically* you never need to reformat, unlike most other distros where that joy awaits you every few months.Be prepared for the occasional breakage and even unbootable system though. Such things are rare but do happen... ;)

You could try a content setting under Firefox that says 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts instead of my selections above'. Make sure it is unchecked when you are not running as root. Also ensure you have the ttf-ms-fonts package from the AUR installed, maybe the more modern equivalents too as detailed here:https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MS_fonts :s
