Hi all:

Is there any tool to find out the key from a machine that has installed Office 365? Thanks for the help.

Just download Belarc Advisor (free) as it does a much more complete job!

I have been using Belarc Advisor for 10-15 years. It is a wonderful free product that will show you EVERYTHING on your system, as well as your network.

It will list ALL your installed software, and show you approximately the last time it was used, and will take you to its folder, as well! It will show you what hotfixes are installed AND which ones are missing.

You probably should run it after any major install and/or at least, once a month.

Print out the results and keep it in a safe place, just in case you need that product key.

Is it a keygen?

Is it a patch?

Is it by phone like Office 2010 and 2013?

Is it a leaked keys?

Thanks for the help.

It's OK, vitorio. Just trying to help in whatever I can.

Now, to answer your questions:

1. No, the Office 365 Home Premium Retail keys are not taken from a keygen, it's all genuine Microsoft Product Keys.

2. No, it's not a patch.

3. I don't know the actual activation process for Office 365 but AFAIK, the retail keys should activate online without the need for phone activation. I could be wrong though.

4. No, it's not leaked keys.

I hope the above takes care of your curiosity.

Regards.

Hi vyzzer,

Can i get one premium retail key for office 365.

Thanks in advance

@pbalaji6

Sorry, I just found out 2 days ago that MS has associated all Office 365 keys to its owners account.

As a matter of fact, the Office 365 key is completely useless to anyone once the owner activate it via the MS Office Online Service. Only the owner himself/herself can share access to Office 365 from within his/her MS Account, nobody can.

If you wish to test the Office 365 Retail key yourself, please let me know and I'll PM you the key.

To setup Office 365 Home Premium, go here:

https://officesetup.getmicrosoftkey.com/

Note: For security sake, please don't use your own MS Account to login. Create a throwaway MS Account using VPN service to protect your anonymity.

Regards.

@vitorio

Please take note of my findings.

Regards.

Credit: Thanks to MattRobinson for his query otherwise I may not know the mistake I've made.

Hi Vyzzer,

Any direct download link available Office 365 retail?

Thanks,

Balaji

I know what you're thinking, Balaji. It won't work because Office 365 is a subscription service and can't be activated like any other MS Software Products.

The Office 365 product key is only needed to set up the MS Account for the first time. Once you’ve set up a MS Account, you can install or reinstall Office 365 from there. You also don't need the Office 365 product key to reinstall or install Office 365 on additional computers. You can do this just by going to the Office 365 Online Service (www.office.com/myaccount) and then sign in with your MS Account

Note: A MS Account is required to redeem and activate Office 365. It's also used to access the OneDrive storage in order to save your Office files to be shared with others.

BTW, to answer your question. Before I knew all about this, I did made a search for Office 365 Home Premium download links but couldn't find a single one on the net. I also thought of making a Office 365 Offline Installer but had to abandon the whole idea because the process was so bloody complicated and I felt it was not worth the time. If you're interested to learn how to make a Office 365 Offline Installer, here's the tutorial:

Download Click-to-Run for Office 365 products by using the Office Deployment Tool

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219424(v=office.15)

I hope the above information is helpful to you.

Regards.

Hi Vyzzer

In summary with a valid MS account, preferably phantom, and I 365 product key that has not used before you can installed Office 365 from 1 to 5 computers.

Is this a valid statement?

Thanks for the information.

Hi vitorio

Yes, that's unfeignedly a valid statement. But to be precise, the Office 365 Home Premium allows you

to install up to 5 PCs or Macs, plus 5 Windows tablets or iPads.

Thnks.

Hi blazeblaze456

As I've explained in Post#14 and Post#19, the Office 365 key is completely ineffective once the owner make use of it to set up the MS Account for the first time.

Sorry, I can't help you out on this one.

Regards.

Hi all

Since when you are not connected to the internet you can used microsoft office 365, this means that the software is installed in the computer and can be use.

Is after 30 days that it needs to validate the license with microsoft otherwise it locks.

Maybe someone can find to extent the 30 days period without been connected to the internet to permanent. Or just not need to validate after the 30 days period, once it is connected to the internet.

Just a thought!!!
