Vuze (formerly Azureus) offers multiple torrent downloads, queuing/priority systems (on torrents and files), start/stop seeding options and instant access to numerous pieces of information about your torrents. Vuze now features an embedded tracker easily set up and ready to use. You can search for torrents beyond Vuze straight from the client, easily share torrents with Vuze "Friends" feature, download and stream high-quality content from the Vuze Network and share bandwidth with "Friends" to get a "Friend Boost" and download faster.

Thanks to thylacine & Astron for the update.

Technically speaking about privacy concerns I dont really trust ether one Vuze or uTorrent new versions .. 2.2.1 witch is ad free but it has crappy magnet handling.

Vuze spoke out against piracy not long about file-sharing

Vuze Torrent Client Condemns Piracy, Says It’s Stealing

Can they be trusted any more ? I used it before it worked pretty good just it has a bigger foot print.

On the other hand qBitorrent is open source ad free and clean , works good and handles magnets well .

How does all this compare to Tixati ? Because it sounds perfect over the rest. Yet sometimes what sounds to good 2 be true.....

Was thinking of switching from early uTorrent client. Any tested experience out there?

If I wanted to switch to Vuze, how would I transfer my uTorrent torrents?

Did you try Find the incomplete file for that torrent for uTorrent and move it to where Vuze stores it's incomplete files. Then load the .torrent file into Vuze.

The problem with clients like Tixati many private trackers dont allow it .. If you only use public trackers I guess it dont matter witch client you use.

About switching. You described for unfinished torrents. More important, what about the torrents I'm seeding with old client. Some I stop at 1.50%, while there's currently 4 I'm seeding like forever.

Is there an ez way or will I need to go through it manually, a program by program nightmare. Am used to nightmares so just hit me with it - thanks.

I dont think there's really a way to do this or is there another client that can read utorrent's data files.

There's not much written about migration from utorrent to Vuze .But there's a lot written how to migrate from it.

If you need support really you should go to Vuze and ask and see if they can help you

good luck.
