I don't like playing and then downloading videos again and again. Is there any software that will keep recording the video I am playing in it's original quality that I am playing or any other method I can use to save that the videos played so that I can save some of my money?

I mean if I just saw a video of file size over 500 mb and I want to keep it, then I will have to waste 500 mb of my data. How can I avoid wasting my data twice?

I suppose the data probably gets temporaily stored on the device, if there is a simple way to get the video without having to download, I would like to know it. I have download manager, I am just asking if it's possible to save some data by retrieving the data from local disk without having to dowload it. downloading it. I hope it made enough sense.

Would it make sense if I say,

How to save or retrieve youtube videos that is stored on hard disk but probably hidden somewhere? I am not sure why you fail to understand that websites, movies, videos etc that Internet users watch online are stored temporarily on hard drive, I am just asking where? For eg. I went to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS6ysDFTbLU, saw the whole video, it must have been store on my pc, right? I am just asking where so that I won't have to download it if I can get the video I played if it is stored on my pc somewhere. It's okay if you don't understand.

I wrote a long story, and if I wanted to post, was again 500 Internal Server Error.
All went ..... I think, everyone understood, where it went.

It is different for different systems and different browsers.
Before you begin to explore the NirSoft software, see also:

http://www.thewindowsclub.com/temporary-internet-files-folder-location

and then:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/ie_cache_viewer.htmlhttp://www.nirsoft.net/utils/video_cache_view.html

But the place is different for the Google Chrome, different for the Mozilla based browsers etc.

And after You delete them, they may be available in C:\$Recycle.Bin\S-1-5-21-1377391964-3429340171-3723587998-1001

However, they do not wear the traditional .flv file names, the names May be also very Different.

By default, the location of temporary Internet files (for Internet Explorer) is:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

For Win2000 and Windows XP

c:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files

For Win95, Win98 ,Windows ME

IE 7 Cache:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low

Windows Vista and 7

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

Windows 8

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache

Looking for your Google Chrome temporary files? It also depends on your operating systems!

Here is where you can find the location for a few common operating systems:

Windows Vista: C:\Users\[uSERNAME]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[uSERNAME]\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\

Windows 7/8: C:\Users\[uSERNAME]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache

Mac OS X: /Users/[uSERNAME]/Library/Caches/Google/Chrome/

The best solution to that problem is to download the video.
If you do not want to download it after watching it, why do not you watch the video after you finish download that video?

Yeah I'm afraid it's impossible for Youtube videos, I think video streams are somehow protected because even if you succeed to extract the video from browser cache you'll get video without Audio/Audio without video/corrupt/incomplete video file. Sorry

why do not you watch the video after you finish download that video?

It is because, I surf a lot and I only have 500 GB HDD, It also takes time to download which means I have to wait. Why would someone just download all the video and then watch it if he doesn't know if he wants to keep it?

Forget it, I will take the suggestion of downloading the video, I have taken unlimited data plan so there is no problem. I just wanted to know if it's possible to retrieve the video users play. Thanks for answering everyone.

maybe you can try to look for a quick look at the video with skip its duration, so you do not need to see the entire video but you can also minimize errors such as download videos that you do not want ;)
