I got 1 disk that is starting to run hot and I want to clone it to a newer hd and make bootable. What is the easiest program to do this; yrs ago I used Norton Ghost and it only took about 5 mins for a perfect bootable hard drive, need something that easy again, thanks.

Personally, I use Acronis True Image Premium for my cloning purposes - nothing easy about it, though.

And oh, just an heads up - I would rather stress upon file integrity than the time frame.

Fast , efficient, very good in handling weak heads / sectors & easy to use. All in all an excellent professional cloning tool..... :)

Hope this assists buddy.

Ghost works just fine still, I use it constantly in work... however my flavour of choice at home is and always has been Acronis, which I boot from a USB stick, works perfectly every time.

Thanks for the help; seems I should just copy from old drive to new drive since I will put it in service immediately after switching disk.

If the new drive manages to boot successfully - we shall throw a party in your name. RlW5CMh.gif
