AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD and CloneDVD mobile. You can also remove the RPC region code, thereby making the movie region free and viewable on any DVD player and with any DVD player software.

Thanks to sternog for the update.

The current BRD patch appears to be working. I'm testing on an "older" DVD. Maybe someone can test on a "new" DVD and report back?

You will have to go to the previous AnyDVD thread in order to find it. It's clearly posted there.

EDIT: One thing I've learned is that if we keep re-posting links, it can be confusing when an update comes along?

BRD patch worked for me on 8.1 x64 - Ripped the movie Star Trek: Into Darkness and everything was a-okay

I don't know why I apply BRD patch, it always shows trial period has already expired. What actually is the problem, does anyone know and advise of any solution to it? Thanks!

I don't know if this is a viable solution but I would recommend uninstalling AnyDVD, rebooting, then running TrashReg to remove any leftover traces of AnyDVD. Then try a new, clean install of the latest version, reboot PC, exit the program from system tray, then copy Patch to install folder, run Patch as Admin, apply and enjoy!

How do you create the registered to 'name' ?.......I just have registered to: ? ?

I wasn't prompted to enter a name. The name of my computer is set to PocketAppZ so I think it just accessed the name of the computer and used that.

PocketAppZ: the download link for Registry Trash Keys Finder is not working! Please provide another link if feasible. I try to download from website and my KIS stop it.
