-Limitations and other requirements-

The Free Edition of Clickteam Fusion 2.5 allows you to build HTML5 applications. Compared with the full version of Clickteam Fusion 2.5 it has a limited set of features:

Limitations

- you cannot load more than 1 application in the editor
- each application cannot contain more than 3 frames
- each frame cannot contain more than 100 backdrop objects and 30 other objects
- each frame cannot contain more than 150 events
- global events are disabled, as well as object behaviors
- the number of object types in this version is very limited
- you cannot install other type of objects with the extension manager
- you cannot export images with the picture editor
- you cannot export or replace sound samples or music files with the Data Element editor

The full version of Clickteam Fusion 2.5 doesn't have these limitations and can generate applications for other platforms with additional export modules. Visit clickteam.com for more information about the full version.

Notes for MMF 2.0 users

- the MFA files saved with this version can't be loaded with the version 2.0 of Clickteam Fusion. When you overwrite an old MFA file with this version, a backup copy is automatically created.

- the version 2.5 of Clickteam Fusion is Unicode. Please look at the Unicode section in the Help file for more info.

- this version requires Windows XP SP 3 or more, it doesn't work on Windows 9x or Windows 2000, as well as the the stand-alone Windows EXE files or screen savers it generates.
