Pedrito
So, anyone here have a Raspberry Pi?I'm curious about it and I want to know how XBMC works, mainly OpenELEC.How's the performance on the Pi? How do HD videos with high bit-rate play? What about HD live streaming from TV or other sources?I'm interested on making a small Media Center with it, and I want to know if it's worth getting one.If anyone got one and wants to share some comments, it would be great.Thanks. :)

deklica
I'm curious about it and I want to know how XBMC works, mainly OpenELEC.How's the performance on the Pi? How do HD videos with high bit-rate play? What about HD live streaming from TV or other sources?I have RPi with OpenELEC... and working great... best choice for media center.Menu and animation working ok, not quick like on PC, but ok and depend of speed from SD card (buy Class 10 UHS-I 600x... I prefer Transcend, >=8GB), on OE forum is manual how to install on USB for better speed and smoother animation... All HD videos working great and smooth from source in LAN... Youtube streaming and IPTV streaming (need two additional codec) working ok...Streaming from torrent sites (like popcorn time) with video plugin working but depend on sources...Better solution for less money You will not find...Sorry for bad english :)
