BEngEE
What is your favorite Android call controller that handles both incoming voice and text? :)The tool will block calls (like Blackballer) AND quaranteen text messages. FreeRyde
All I've ever needed is the free version of Call Blocker.

Would really prefer if there was an alternate

dcs18
I have been auditing my incoming calls with a fair deal of granular control on my rooted Kitkat 4.4.2 (Samsung Galaxy S4,) using Extreme Call Blocker - it has the capability to block messages, too (not using that facility, though.) dMog
eset has a call blocker for voice and text...if you get a message or phone call you wish to block you can stop it from calling you by blocking incoming or even just outgoing or both
togapilot
Old thread but I don't see any mention of Call Master by Fahrbot. Call Master has a very long list of features including call and text monitoring, obfuscation, custom notifications and sweep call logs. There is a significant learning curve but I think you will find it to be well worth the effort. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fahrbot.apps.blacklist&hl=en

misieeq
exactly, use the truecaller not only it allows you to do so, but also it shows you info about the person calling (e.g. bank, insurance company etc.)
