darko999
If you don't install much apps, and you know what you are installing, av solution is an overkill. Personally I installed a few apps that I use, and that are worldwide trusted, and thats all. Edited July 25, 2014 by darko999
exodius
IMHO, its not needed, it will slowdown your device.Read here for more infos: http://www.nsaneforums.com/topic/224725-mobile-threat-monday-fake-google-messenger-reads-your-texts-records-your-calls/?do=findComment&comment=812890
Ragdd
There are virusses for every O.S.Since you will use accounts on these devices, I recommend installing an anti-virus.Also you probably will buy apps on google store, and this could be expensive when a keylogger is installed.I also see people with regular computers and laptop who think they don't need an antivirus because they are carefull or they don't download (but I see a torrent downloader on their desktop).Just for fun, I install Avira or Eset on it and bingo, several trojans and virusses are found. Alanon
I use 360 Security v1.9.5, it does what is needed...Yup, it's getting better with each version. The cleaner is a bit aggressive, it can delete used and needed files quite often.

The cleaner is a bit aggressive, it can delete used and needed files quite often.Indeed it's getting better with each update. I never had that issue of it deleting any needed files, as it cleans up alot of clutter and free up the device...
