[Solved] [Courtesy - dcs18] Network connectivity issue, windows 8.1

I use a dial-up connection connecting my phone via bluetooth for accessing the internet on my laptop.
Today morning it I connected with same method. The connection gets established but no access to the internet. I thought that's a temporary ISP bug. Then after sometime, I tried connecting again. Gets connected fine but no internet access. I tried different ISPs with different phone modems but same thing - get connected to can't access internet.
Then I called customer care. They told everything is fine at their side. And that is true too because If ISP successfully gets connected, that costs me 10KB of data and is is shown upon disconnection. Then I tried my phone modem to other PC. It works fine there.
So, it is confirmed that the bug is with my laptop.

Can anyone predict anything regarding the issue?

Yes, disabled WFC. Removed WFC from auto start. Rebooted. Tried establish connection. No use.

That does not disable WFC.

I even tried installing Nokia Ovi suite. That isn't helping either.

Read my previous reply and reboot as per my first reply. :P

To disable WFC >> Profile >> No Filtering.

Ok I will try this when power restores. Now I understand why PITA was unable to access the internet after installing WFC.

OK, I'll try and report back soon.

Yeah, you were damn right. WFC was the culprit. So, how to configure it so that it doesn't block my internet connection?

Well, thanks :)

Ok, no problems!

BrainFart - sounds like some kind of family problem or business. You can share with me if you don't mind.
