I prefer my portables in the PortableApps.com Format or even yet another Portable format.

can you divide your configurations yet another Portable format *.ini file,
such as my google_chrome or firefox
google_chrome:
firefox:
thx

I am familiar with yaP and I've used it before but for much simpler programs than Chrome. I only used it for programs that have a portable version available from the developer. I like having Launchers for all the portables for use with the PA.com Platform (menu)

I use PAL (Portable Application Launcher), there is a guide for noobs and a proper introduction for PAL aswell. If you are familiar with AutoIT, you can slightly change the included source script to give the launcher a custom icon, use multiple data and registry paths (if the launched program reads and writes into more than a single place, which is the default in the script) etc. before compiling with Aut2Exe, it's similar to yaP with less features.

I will definitely look into that, thanks :)
