TheEmpathicEar
[Hopefully, this is the correct forum... This is my first iPod. I bought it because of the storage capacity. I did have a 120GB Zune that was lost or stolen]It seems like Foobar has a plugin that allows syncing with an iPod. And, WinAMP allows syncing with an iPod?In any case, I'm trying to figure out the best case scenario to syncing my music collection, all MP3s, to my new iPod Classic 7th Gen 160GB. Everything I read about trying to use WMP involves a $$ plugin. I'm using Windows 7 32-bit.

TheEmpathicEar
http://www.copytrans.net/copytransmanager.phpI may have mis-read the guides on that site. I want to "point" the software to my "My Music" folder [on a storage drive, not my system drive] where I have all my music - MP3s. This is what I did with both the Zune software and WMP. After supplying the top level folder ["My Music"], the software goes through all the sub-folders, artist, album, etc. and displays everything w/o having to drag-drop files. i.e. Whatever you put into the "My Music" folder is detected and displayed and ready to sync.
