I can only use the P2P list. When I use the spyware or the advertising list, my song in Mediamonkey skip. :(

When you know something is blocked, quickly look at the PeerBlock main window & note the time is same... experiment with right click and unblock for few minutes... if it solves the problem unblock it permanently. example of this site if I enable the default p2p blocking... forum is blocked until I select the telcom item showing. http://i.imgur.com/Uvaf3ZV.jpg

right click NSane names and unblock

NO. question is WHY is peerblock blocking nsane?

Developers of some of these programs do sincerely believe that we, here - at nSane are Saints who dutifully evaluate their products and then uninstall them from our systems (or buy the same) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . others do not. :coolwink:

fine, but it's under the "malware" list, not under the "piracy" list. i think that could be refuted

Piracy goes hand-in-glove with malware (remember KeyGens, Patches, Loaders, Trial Resets - these are the hotbeds that do not find mention/residence at sites of non-pirated stuff.) :tehe:

Its features all work as freeware ... except the updates are allowed for free only weekly, unless you pay a small amount.

It autoupdates but fails, except for once per week.

I'm not sure what caused this "blocking" but NsaneForums is working now, no blocking anymore. Maybe there was a bad PeerBlock database update who knows. But things like this happens time to time.

I thought I'd check out PeerBlock. I am having the same issue.

Just depends on the lists you are using. I've been using PB for about 5 years and have no problem loading nsaneforums. And am using 22 list to boot!

Are you using the updated P2P list then? Cuz thats the one that has the entries that cause the issues that mikie talked about and I confirmed.

Just added it and here I am. I know a bit about PB...l'm a moderator at PB forums and was the first person to test PB when developer decided to fork from peerguardian.

I just checked my default p2p list and have no ip address(Netrouting Telecom:109.235.51.193). Maybe that's the reason my PB is not blocking nsane....who knows.

Well Netrouting Telecom: 109.235.51.193 is in my P2P list. 109.235.51.193 falls within the range of IPs that I have highlighted in the screenshot below. I just installed PeerBlock 2 or 3 days ago. Until then PB has never been on my system. I d/l PB directly from PeerBlock.com and I am only using the default lists that came 'built in' to PB. Obviously we are not using the same P2P list. I am a free user so I can only update my lists once per week (which I did). Maybe when I update my lists again this entry will no longer be present, I dunno

I stand corrected. Found the ips in my p2p list. Are you able to load nsaneforums without allowing these?

If you don't allow this ip range(block) are you able to load nsaneforums?

No I can not, in order to load nsaneforums I allowed the ip range. PB made a list called 'permallow.p2b' with the entry > Netrouting Telecom: 109.235.51.193

Damn I'll try this for the 4th time....my chrome keeps crashing. Anyway I can't believe PB is blocking nsaneforums. I'm still blocking those IPs and here I am. Maybe its because I'm using a newer version of PB:
