I know that this is about Kaspersky but after reading this, I checked Bitdefender Total Security 2015 on my Windows 7 SP1 64bit with 4GB RAM as comparison, and found out that checking the information on Windows Task Manager and manually adding the values of all processes that have Bitdefender on them showed the result is 39324 KB or 38.4 MB of memory usage.

Just want to share in case anyone wants to know.

I still have Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 [and is planning to keep it as it is] on my Windows XP partition on my 750 GiB hard disk.

-_- BEFORE POSTING ATLEAST CHECK THE REGISTRY VALUES OF YOUR .BAT FILES BRO , YOU HAVE JUST RENAMED KASPERSKY 2014 RESET TO KASPERSKY 2015 RESET . . . YOUR .BAT FILES REGISTRY VALUES DOES NOT EXIST IN KASPERSKY 2015

SO PLEASE, DON'T PROVIDE USELESS THINGS BY RENAMING SOMETHING LIKE KASPERSKY RESETTER 2015 BAT FILE :wtf:

I'm happy that Kaspersky AntiVirus 2014 is back less cpu and ram consuming than the 2013 version.

Also 2012 was light on recourses.

There was a period that Kaspersky was becomming more and more a recourse hog, but happy that's changed.
