AnyDVD 7.4.8.0

AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD and CloneDVD mobile. You can also remove the RPC region code, thereby making the movie region free and viewable on any DVD player and with any DVD player software.

@ZinnPL

Is this the same patch that's been around for a while now?

The latest patch by BRD:

http://www.datafilehost.com/d/fc29e8ca

Untested

I downloaded. The file size of this patch is different from the previous patch by BRD. And, this patch GUI appears different as well. As to whether or not it actually does anything different from it's predecessor: Who knows?

It`s a new patch mate, that`s why I posted. It`s from the latest official 0day release by BRD.

I'm not doubting. :) But, I already used the previous patch successfully on v7.4.8.0. You just need someone else to test this new patch?

But this patch was detected as virus by AVG and was removed automatically!

Both versions of the patch are detected. If you read the NFO, it warns you of this. If you don't like it then don't use it. But, it's a false positive in both cases.

New BRD-patch working fine , Win7 x64.

The BRD.dll is now gone from the Slysoft-program folder !

Have to apply the Elby CDIO.dll again in the Clone-CD folder,after applying patch, or else this program does not work anymore!!

Yes, the elbycdio.dll had to be replaced after applying the previous patch as well. If BRD no longer uses the BRD.dll as part of the crack, I wonder how this patch works?

Yes, a very good question indeed!

How to test this software, and how to be sure its working fine, after applying this latest BRD-patch, wich removes the BRD.dll ??!

Maybe someone who knows more ??

BRD.dll was a BRD`s older release watermark against rippers imho, that`s all.

There are no mysteries about what the 0.7 patch version does, since it's simply a new approach to lift some specific, "functional", limitations from the old customized dup patching engine. Besides, this new patch will even work fine, if some previous Slysoft's programs using the same driver were previously installed on the system.

It's log, tells what's exactly done:

** AnyDVD Generic Patcher by Hiei/BRD **
--------------------------------------------------------
Copying driver to install dir...
C:\Archivos de programa\SlySoft\AnyDVD\ElbyCDIO.dll
SUCCESS: Driver copied to install dir!

Patching driver...
SUCCESS: File patched successfully!

Exporting BRD's activator...
SUCCESS: File exported successfully!
Done...

As you may see, it does a copy of the "ElbyCDIO.dll" to the main AnyDVD's installation folder, thus it doesn't patch the one over there. Then, it simply patches it, and finally drops the "BRD.dll" injection file (this last one having set the "hidden" attribute).

So, if somehow you had to replace the "ElbyCDIO.dll" again, in order the other programs keep working, it must be related to some problem in your system. Since the one located in the "/system32/" folder remains untouched.

Everyone here has reported that after using the previous patch on AnyDVD, they had to move a copy [backed up before patching] of "ElbyCDIO.dll" to the CloneCD tolder in order for it to continue working. It maybe as you say that this v0.7 patch no longer requires this?

Had to insert the ElbyCIO.dll everytime in this CloneCD-folder ( Slysoft !) ,after using the BRD-patch .

Its this time, again, the same procedure after using the new BRD-patch !

So you telling me, my system is corrupt now ?? Come on!

@TheEmpathicEar

Precisely, I bet that was the main reason that lead to the coding of a brand new patch engine, which will not interfere anymore with the other Slysoft's program functioning.

@Pete 12

I'm talking about the new patch, not the previous ones. But if you still have problems with this last one, how do you think it might be causing them? I showed you there are no secrets about the patch's tasks, and if you pay a little of attention to that, there is simply "no reason" to think it is screwing up your CloneCD installation.

Does anybody know if this works or its just only a chimera?

No idea. In the past, it has been very hard to generate valid license keys. And, most of the time they are blacklisted very quickly?
