Knightmare
Tried uninstalling VIA to install another version of the driver/program, but when I select to restart after the install finishes, the computer does not restart. I go to click on the installshield in the taskbar and it says that the installdriver module has stopped working. I looked in the event viewer and found this:The program IDriver.exe version 7.4.0.377 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel. rudrax
> Make sure that the driver is fully compatible with whatever OS you are using.> If you have a OEM device, specially notebooks from Sony, Toshiba and Panasonic, they don't allow updating driver from the original hardware vendor directly.> If direct installation isn't working, you can try by manually inserting the driver setup information (.inf) file to see if it work.
