Hi,

Best method to backup (image) GPT/UEFI disk whithout software

command prompt administrator

Image system: choose the destination volume (drive backup). "F" for me

wbAdmin start backup -backupTarget:F: -include:C: -allCritical -quiet

If you want to save several disks or partitions to image the system, you must include

them as a comma-separated list:

wbAdmin start backup -backupTarget:E: -include:C:,D:,F: -allCritical -quiet

-include:C: is that needed ?

My task for a daily image command is;

wbAdmin start backup -backupTarget:E: -allCritical -quiet

seems to re-image all my c stuff just fine.

What about restore with and without Windows running ?

.yes, we should ensure how to restore, otherwise it's just waste your time..

You restore using the windows recovery environment, on the installer dvd, by dropping into the cmd prompt.
