When accompanying a media file, most media player programs will automatically recognize a subtitle file if they share the same name.

If you are using VLC, Extract the SRT file to the Movie folder, Open the Movie then Go to "Subtitle" > Add subtitle, it will be shown at the first try, Double-Click on it and done

It depends, in most cases they are already embedded, but if you see nothing try to add the srt file

All you need to do is.....1. make sure both the movie and the SRT share the same file name albeit different file extension of course. A SRT should have .SRT extension.

2. Then copy both the files in to a same directory.

3. Open your favorite media player VLC, MHC or anyone, and you will see the subtitles on screen.

4. That's it. Enjoy your movie. ;)

Those are called "forced subtitiles". If the movie hasn't it embedded you need to look for forced subtitles for that specific movie.
