Windows 8.1 problems: How to fix them

I don't have actual problem with Windows 8.1. Starts fast, works OK but i just don't like how it designed.

Most of the geeks or tech lovers like it because it is new.

Like you, most of the Geeks like it because of its performance which is no longer possible for Windows 7 - besides, they know how to disable every little bit of what they dislike about the way it is designed. :)

And why sould i invest time and energy to make Windows 8.1 usable when i can simply install Windows 7? Performance? What performance? I don't see major performance differences. Your talking like Windows 7 slows down your computer and every task takes double time then on Windows 8.1... This tutorial will come in handy when they stop making Windows 7 drivers or games will support only Windows 8 and newer OS. Until then there will be at least 2 new Windows OS.

For me its very functional easier to use than Win 7 and never had a BSOD in over 1.6 years of use. So I am very satisfied with it of course I have the latest drivers for all my hardware, and I use a very updated Computer .

And what benefits do you have with latest drivers? Like there are no latest drivers for Windows 7... Are you using your computer to benchmark whole day? Or what is it whit these "latest latest latest drivers and very updated computer"?

You answered your own question - your time and energy is invested, not expended.

Were you really surprised with yourself?

Had Microsoft rolled these suggestions as they came out it might have been easier to fix. Clean installations are generally the best but i have found that since W7, it's easier to fix problems as they occur, never had any issues with any updates since XP to W7, W8 is the only one that i have noticed or had trouble with. I rarely refresh my system and had done that so often with WIndows 98 and a bit with XP. I only deal with clean installations if there is a problem i can't solve and i always have a few back up PC's in case of an emergency. Having Linux as a secondary OS is great to have as well. This to me is effectively in solving problems and i am not stranded because of only having one PC or even having only one way of connecting to the internet.

2. After using crapware Privacy Eraser could not run multiple tools they even crashed while start...(100% my fault,

so it was just right sutch shXt happend)

After a new fresh setup now with HDDs format and all setup steps customized I have a blazing OS again....

Real stable thing Win 8.1 update spring....The look n feel is another story ;)
