Freezing, Windows 7 SP1

What can I say?

That was not the problem.

56 hours, it was fine, then, freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did some brain storming and thought, when did this first start.

It started when I installed rollbackrx over the glary giveaway.

You know the copy of rollbackrx but the same serial works.

So I have removed the 'struggle n grunt' software.

I notice, programs open faster, the lag has gone, my r.a.m. feels horny and works faster, messenger now logs in after a log off rather than waiting for me.

Many other things make me feel better about my system.

So there you have it Charlie Brown, I am sticking to Norton ghost 15 and rollbackrx can find a life somewhere else.

I only reboot if windows asks me too after updates.

Or if system freezes.

Otherwise I put my PC into sleep when bedtime comes.

I see now, I had the cold freezing issue and thought it was caused by Nvidia driver but it was another issue, I could solve it by making the rule for Windows Search process set to Manual instead of Automatic (Delayed) as I noticed the freezing issue comes mostly after startup (after 1 minute or less)

Anyone know how to get rid of the operating system rollbackrx creates on your hard drive?

I would like the 65GB back.

My system feels like it is back on steroids again, which is great.

I also noticed the sentences I write have stopped dropping parts of words.

I thought that was keyscrambler causing it.

Nice to be on fire again.

I would try a reputed Disk Manager - my personal preference is for Disk Director.

Just to add more, my system works like a charm now.

Super fast, better display and ethernet speed increased.

I went to PC pitstop and was told my machine is in the top 25% tested around the world.

Even with a mid range graphics card (ATI Radeon 5400 HD) , hybrid ssd and 16gb r.a.m. 3.2 64 bit quad core processor with no over clocking.

Thought I would update you all of the situation.

Since removal of Rollbackrx, no problems.

I am a curious person and like to know why.

So I went back to when I first installed this type of software and that was from glary the glary giveaway, which was eazy fix 10.

So I downloaded the latest eazy fix version and installed and activated it.

So far I only notice a slight breezy type slowness but no freeze.

I am wondering if the problems were caused by installing rollbackrx over eazy fix 10, or if it's a case of rollbackrx being well you know, not going to use the f word.

I will give eazy fix a week and as I use my pc from 05:00 till 20:00 everyday, should notice a freeze, if there is one.

Just a further update, Eazy Fix started to cause a freeze, so that's it done and done.

I'll stick with my trusted Ghost!

I also noticed that since removing both Eazy Fix & Rollbackrx my disk contains a fragmentation level from 9-11% to 0.3%.
