Lock down all your confidential business and personal documents, videos and photos in a highly secure virtual vault. Works just like a real safe protecting your data from unauthorised third party access. capt_blake
Time that they giveaway latest Vs. :PYep. I was also thinking along the same line, about version 15 :).There have been already so many giveaways of version 14 :).And I also wondered...some time ago (March 14, 2014, to be precise) group DVT released cracked the whole Steganos Privacy Suite v15.2.1.But I personally would only like to have and use the Safe - firstly, to check how it performs - for the, at least advertised, much stronger encryption - 384 bit AES-XEX.and I guess better (or introduced in this version) compatibility with Windows 8.1....I find the other components of the Suite heavy and of little use - for me, for sure.So my wondering was why group DVT cracked only the whole suite (ok, certainly, it's not my business:))...or any laughable grounds to "complain" :))...but still - if DVT or others could have dealt also separately or exclusively with "the Safe v15"... - would have been quite enough for many people - I think!Cheers! :)...just sharing opinion :)** Edited May 30, 2014 by capt_blake

capt_blake
Yeah thats crazy...Encryption is not as safe as many thought..I would also just use the safe..But right now I use G DATA safe which makes me feel little bit more safe..But also TrueCrypt was cracked as I read on FP... :PMe too: though I've never used TrueCrypt I was quite surprised to learn yesterday that its development was abruptly discontinued.I read it on “the hacker news” (I like this source of security news): http://thehackernews.com/2014/05/encryption-tool-truecrypt-shuts-down.html Frankly, what I've decided to use (when I do a clean install of Windows over the weekend, I have to) - for file encryption - will only be the “simplest” and lightest solution I know of and am happy with for the last couple of months or so: AxCrypt.A, ok – it is also frontpaged at nsane.down:). Nice.…and I am also quite excited about the development of protonmail.I am talking a lot this evening.I’d better get silent, it’s late :).(thank you for mentioning G Data safe; I did not know of it).--
