Its a shame you can't utilize the online streaming functions without data retention ...Best to use VLC to stream media online as they have an option to opt out of data retention . Next.....I dont really have no problems playing files maybe you should go into the advaned settings and set it diffrent or you can download the version dvbsupport were it has the old settings your use too as default ..the old settings are still in the offical build there just hidden ... As far as it snooping on you it always has there's articles on the internet dating back to last year about it calling home . Just before the Terms of use were written in just Korean. ...Now they went Global its written in English , that they snoop on you. But that's what Windows FW or other FWs is for .
