McAfee Internet Security at the top of the list? Says SO much. The so-called "Independent" AV tests...

It is interesting to see how poorly Avast did (near the bottom with respect to protection).

Strangely Comodo got 4/6 on performance test while it doesn't slow down anything with scanning optimization on (Viruscope off since it's irrelevant here) for everyday use, while Avira got 5 and halves my SDD/HDD speed on both read and write here.

Provided link direct to AV Test not Softpedia.

Softpedia just make it own result with cosmetic change in chart. Other words, its Softpedia summary.

Enjoy your reading and don't take personally about result. Be safe with your trusted AV.

Anhlab doing like shit has sense to me, I remember doing my old test, that AV did awful, beyond bad. Literally didn't catch anything lol.

-If someone clicks on on Performance, results are as follows:

Kaspersky, Kingsoft, 360, PC Manager, Avira, Bitdefender, McAfee, avast!, AVG, BullGuard, Trend Micro, ZoneAlarm, F-Secure, G DATA, COMODO, Norton, AhnLab, ESET, eScan, Norman, Panda, VIPRE, PCKeeper, and Microsoft.
