funkyy
Help! S.O.S! MayDay! Can some kind-hearted person out there get me a clean copy of "cmd.exe" file (in System32) for Win XP?I've been having problems with copy/paste and a more experienced member than me (that means almost everyone!!!) has suggested that my file may be corrupted and causing the aforementioned copy/paste problem. Thanks...you will receive your reward in heaven!!! :showoff: :showoff: :showoff:

Will let you and Dcs18 know what happens. Thanks for now!!! :showoff:
funkyy
Hi again go0gle...I put the cmd.exe file in System32 and rebooted. Unfortunately the "copy/paste" problem and the hyperlink problem still exist. But thank you for your help, at least that eliminates the cmd.exe file from the list of possible causes. I'll just live with this problem until I get round to a re-install of XP or Win 7. Thanks once again for your kindness. :showoff:
