Kaspersky eats a lot of resourses, it's one of the heaviest AV on the market, but on of the best on the other hand. if you have a laptop or an old PC, you should stop using an AV and start enjoying using your PC. If you have a new PC, with good stats, then there is an incompatibility issue, but I doubt it.

Use a snapshot app to be able to revert the system every day, week in case if you think that you got a virus, and enjoy your speedy PC. Rollback RX the free version is just fine, but lately Rollback has some problems with blue screen from the latest Windows updates.

The solutions are to uncheck the option for "Concede operating system resources at system startup" and disable system watcher. The 2nd is optional but it may provide an even faster load. If not, just reenable system watcher.

You need a new/better system which can handle the KIS 2014 overload as you're running the Windows 7 on a approx 10 year old laptop (presumed).

So, please don't expect top of the line performance from your outdated dying hardware. Better stick with ESET NOD32 AV 0r ESET SS if you want slightly sluggish free system. :showoff2:

ESET NOD32 can be activated for life using the reputed box, mara- fix. B)

FWIW, the person who was creating the Kaspersky patch has disappeared from nSane after his patch started failing. :lol:
