I used AVG onetime 10 years ago, and never afterthat. I think it's a useless antivirus.

For example, there is a keygen for AVG Internet Security that gives you hundreds of licenses and the company haven't done anything about it. so how an Antivirus company like this is supposed to protect me if their licenses are spoiled everywhre???

AVG is my 2nd antivirus on my pc. I used it 5 years ago, and I didnt use it till now. :D

I think now kaspersky/bitdefender is new trend of antiviruses.

I'm using MSE for now, Simple antivirus with less resource usage.

Both MSE and AVG are terrible. If you want the best paid protection and having to bother with cracks/serials/keygens/trial resets/etc then go for Kaspersky or Bitdefender. If you want a free unobtrusive antivirus with great protection and easy on your system just get Avira Free. The latest version still has the toolbar but is an optional install, all future versions will not have the toolbar whatsoever.

I agree with you

Avast and Avira are good free av from several years

Especially avast is excellent for its boot scan which is not available in other av's even in paid av
