ESET Smart Security 7.0.317.4

Some final notes:

1. PureFix not recommended for ESET 7.x - my personal experience

2. On Both 32-bit/64-bit PCs, Box, Mara fix, started before installing ESET, worked flawlessly. This is clearly the way to go

3. The 12/31/2014 date is of no concern?

hmmm strange; a friend of mine creates unattended ESET installations and found out that marafix caused blocked update servers (asking for username etc.). With purefix we managed to fix that problem.

However; after installing ESS 7 x64 on windows 7, 8 & 8.1 the windows firewall had to be turned off manually + in action center ESET wasn't being spotted as installed.

We checked and rechecked and found that every component was actually working perfect so we switched off notifications in action center

We'll check if marafix is the way to go for this version of ESET ESS and AV

@Skunk1966

Be waiting your check progress ..OK thanks.

result: we managed to fix this one with marafix 1.7; bugfix for action center worked and all versions work 100% including updates. Windows firewall shuts down automatically when installing unattended ESS + no more warnings from action center. The reason for using marafix 1.7 is it doesn't show any expiration date :-)

We only make Dutch versions so if members here like to check it out let me know. I could add an info textfile for members who can't understand Dutch. If there's a lot of interest in unattended ESET (all-in-one installer with all different versions + NOD Removal tool included) I can make it available here

dear Skunk 1966, i'll follow your info at least as my note..to handling ESET with mara-fix..seems
more simple no need to entering username and password to
activation field...thanks a lot for your info..if i've some issue please don't mind
i will contact you.. :D

there is a way to delete 1/1/205 expiration date and put OEM license?why Mara don't put 2030 expiration date?is too close 1 /1/ 2015 expiration date!i know that it's purely cosmethic,but it's ughly to see!

is simple. :D

Start Windows in Safe Mode

1. Is that Hexadecimal or Decimal?

2. I notice that your license info has "OEM"? [Mine does not]

Can someone test this and report back?

@dcs18

[Apparently, you cannot receive private messages, can you weigh in here]

After using the Box, Mara fix:

1.Is it necessary to change the expiration date?

2.Is it desirable to have "OEM" display as license info?

your method isn't correct,iih1 :) don't need to put user/password to get OEM.it's only to put right values in the registry.

unattended multi-installer can be downloaded here: https://mega.co.nz/#!gdVkFDaK!auXvzXj6U959OiWyDxtSYB3bnXo59pBAVdZ_UycmVeE

Make sure you read the read me-file in the rar package before doing anything!

I just found out that after installing on Windows 7 x64 the notification about no anti-virus installed is still present; just go into action center and disable notifications about anti-virus. Windows firewall (only when installing ESS) is automatically disabled and Eset works perfectly

MAKE SURE UAC IS TURNED OFF WHEN INSTALLING UNATTENDED SOFTWARE!!!

ENJOY!!!
