Ansys 16 doesn't had support for win xp and win 7

Ansys 16 only supports win 8,8.1 that too 64 bit only which means I need to leave 32 bit on one day or other :sadwalk:

First I must say that we must blame ourselves that company do as they do this days. I still use win7 and will use it as long as possible. And first app, which I use this days, wont support win7 anymore, I will never ever use it again. In 99% you can always find similar app. But thats me and how I think and more people should do as I do, if we will try to change how companys think. Otherwise we will "dance as they play" and then we should not complain either.

Secondly I must say that I still use x86, 32 bit on my comp. I never understood really why we all should switch to x64, 64bit systems? Is main reason only because of ram memory restriction on x86 or something else which we "ordinary" people dont know or understand? In my long life :D I installed both x86 and x64 OS on many computers and x86 is better in several points for common people than x64, but thats my opinion ;) .
