Okay, i usually bite my tongue and say nothing when i see this crap, but not today.....

Every time i see the "6 months free AV" crap on giveaways my response is the same:

Are you really going to uninstall whatever AV you have now, one thats probably served you quite well, youve gotten used to it, and its quirks, to install a new one which you probably havent used before, learn a new GUI, get used to new quirks, all because you get 6 months free?

Unless you need to use the additional "personal information" protections only offered in paid AV, an most people ive ever known to have paid for AV have NEVER, and i repeat NEVER used them (they require setup to work with banks etc).

So knowing that as well why the frick would you want to abandon your current AV to use another AV, what?, just because its FREE for 6 months.

I really dont understand the nutbag mentality behind the people who see these "6 months free AV" posts on here and routinely change, looking for the next one when their current "free 6 months" one runs out. Apparently some people must get everything free, even when the actual FREE AV is easily available.....

Any sane person would just install a free AV and live with it.....

I could live the rest of my life on nsanedown quite happily never seeing another one of these ridiculous topics in the giveaway section.....a topic for the desperate who feel entitled to free paid software when the fully free software is more than adequate and easily available

Society is doomed

is this tested on windows 8.1 no problem or lag?

No problem at all - it`s really fast and light - try it and see for yourself !

From were did you get that foolish conclusion ?

Good detection rate but too heavy in system resources.

Furthermore, I totally agree with stylemessiah.

... how silly ... at least did you try it on your PC ?
