Kalju
Don't worry - it won't, just use the following graphical illustrations and you cannot go wrong:--http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.htmlThere can not really anything wrong to do! Even if you want to do something different, you'll have a little think about how to make this happen.

dcs18
True, Windows 7 ships with quite a wide array of drivers for most hardware - Peeps fail to comprehend why the Windows 7 DVD is larger than a Windows XP CD.

Rok
Why you want to move from one discontinued product XP to another Windows 7 ??? Strange, if you can get Windows 7 run on your PC/laptop, you could well get Windows 8.1 (which is the latest) run as well. I suggest to go for it. But, the version 2.0.4 was released in August 2010, and if it can be run on Windows 7, it would certainly on Windows 8.1 too. In any case, you can run the softwares in 'compatibility mode' till you want to upgrade your existing software. Rest is your choice.
