Ponting
Which one do you prefer to use between Revo Uninstaller Pro and Total Uninstall Pro and why? Edited May 5, 2014 by NSFfan
Myna
Revo Uninstaller ProReasons:Gives discount Lifetime for current major version Support staff is great Works as great as TUP (People say, sometimes TUP works better. But I didn't face any failed uninstallation using Revo) Apart from Uninstalling apps, I use these features of Revo too.... rudrax
IMHO, both are great. It's very difficult to choose one of them. One can be happy having any one of them. I use Revo.
dcs18
Both are pretty dangerous at their basic function of uninstalling programs - those who use 3rd party uninstallers are sure to come to grief one day or the other. Most folks might tend to disagree with me on this statement - but, time is the best comb a man can have (unless, he grows bald - with argument.)About the more advanced function of monitoring installations for purposes of reverse engineering, I find Total Uninstall better. Most folks don't have the patience to wait for Martau to be pawned at his activation. Edited May 5, 2014 by dcs18
sirri
TU did better in my own experience. Some cases ,Revo fail to remove empty folder after uninstallation, so remove it manually. TU has ability continue uninstallation after reboot but Revo not. Some time, Revo remove invalid registry entries that cause other program work improperly. ( I forgot what program was, its long time ago :D )So TU is #1 in my book. cheers
FrankV
For many years I'm, a happy user of Revo. I have never experienced any problems with this prog so I will stick to this.
212eta
+1 for TU, because of better installation monitoring.
software182
I am using both of TUP & RUPbut i'm planning to buy it if martau gives lower price & lifetime license :s+1 for TUP :king:

Matsuda
I'm loving Uninstall Tool, but the Martau is the best when removing traces.

clubhouse
I use Revo (mostly) with everything file seracher, then I use Revo (right click) to remove the folders and entries it may have missed....Also its force uninstall is useful for the times a program has left stubbon files and folders.Of course. diligence is needed using third party installers, both TU and Revo offer a preview of what is going to be deleted and its a user choice from then on. avmad
My opinion. ;)TU is best, but sometimes too aggresive when tracing installs. It catches all of it but can find other things too.Soft Organizer is next best. Has never removed extras like TU can.Revo hasn't been much good for quite a long time now. I'd rather use Your Uninstaller as a 3rd opinion program.
iih1
me,no doubt TU..or YU! :D
Fallon
Total Uninstall lists everything, including registry stuff I don't want to touch. I use it now. Revo is fine too and probably others ('Your Uninstaller' used to be good enough for me). Still cannot kick out Windows on board program uninstaller, as it covers windows updates. DNM
Revo is my main Uninstaller. Used it for 3 years or so now and it's always done what I needed it 2 do.
