Kalju
Please add a few examples: the file name, properties, and everything else you can find. Also, this is where these files are located (full address of the file folder - for example, C: \ Users \ {username} \ Documents \ folder or file name, for example, ajudfge34tg)Also, when You find them? What You did before?

Kalju
Do You have only this one or much more? Do you use or have used any of the files recovery program? Do You use or have used any backup - makers? If not, then it's probably some kind: .zip, .rar, .iso or .exe file.
lurch234
If not, then it's probably some kind: .zip, .rar, .iso or .exe file.Yes. Try to open it with 7-Zip or mount it as an iso file.
avmad
You can add .exe to the name and run :D But that's dangerous, so only do it in isolation like vm or sandboxie.

Truth to be told, I have no idea what is going on.This is the best forum I have ever visited. Kalju
If it is located in your document files folder (as I understood it) and you do not know what it is, it's wisest to permanently remove it from there. You can upload it somewhere else - just in case and then destroy it from there permanently - use a "File Wiper" or "File Schredder". After You have done this, also clean and repair registry. I recommend is to use Registry First Aid (Rosecity software http://www.rosecitysoftware.com/reg1aid/).
dcs18
Navigate to Folder Options >> View >> un-check (disable) Hide extension for known file types >> Apply >> OK.
