In my opinion it is a very good product and should be included among the first places, but for the charts AV Real world does not seem to be so. Another virus turns out to be excellent in my opinion is VIPRE. :) PS. If you do not believe me, try it and you will not regret it. :P

I have a technical question: How do you guys know whether or not you have a virus/trojan horse/keylogger in your computer?

Granted, nowadays computer virus/trojan horse don't delete/replicate your files on your computer, nor do they change your browser homepage. They normally just hide themselves on your system and stealing your information.

Been using ESET for a few years and haven't had a virus yet. :D

Yeah the best quality about Kaspersky is excellence and consistence. They have been on the top 2 list for many, many years. Other AVs, up and down, you never know.

From what I heard they refused to be in the test list, but I might misunderstood.

Baidu its actually very effective, its using cloud detection plus Bitdefender Engine.

AV-Comparatives HERE lists Avira as the 3rd party engine of Baidu...

Yes, they recently switched from Bitdefender to Baidu engine.

I'm not AV fan but the result show Panda Cloud Free has strong detection and very low FP's.

Kaspersky is excellence and consistency, beside best quality and smartly.
proven Kaspersky just to delete those infected file. other AV will delete whole the packet files
.

Vendors Anti Virus (PC) LIST

When we test with EICAR STANDARD ANTIVIRUS TEST FILE

Kaspersky have know those files are just EICAR AV TEST, other AV will quaratine or deleted.

you can test your AV, are in good condition or not, by downloading Test FILE above and see what your AV did.

The EICAR Standard AV test file contains:

Test Anvir eicar.com
X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

Let's begin.....

I'm using avast for 3 years now and totally happy with it! I'm really surprised to see a huge number of false positives in this test.

Symantec /Norton pulled out and don't want participate test series since 2012,if I remember correctly. They scored low on File Detection Test. They thought this test meaningless.
