rudrax
Next time, when you instal IDM in a freshly formatted PC, consider installing it monitoring by Revo Uninstaller or Total Uninstaller. Then the whole installation will be traced by the uninstaller allowing you to uninstall it completely when necessary.

Ramjade
Sorry guts, The reason I want to uninstall is do a reinstall of IDM. Yesterday, I install 6.19b7 over 6.19b6, reboot my pc and saw it is still 6.19b6. So I was thinking of starting over from scratch.Usually, I just installed over it, it will work. But suddenly it still showed the old version. Edited April 24, 2014 by Ramjade
xanax
there can be some IDM random generated registry clsid keys with permissions everyone denied, so you will not see them and delete them without some tools Edited April 24, 2014 by xanax
SlimRock
Here's the complete list of IDM registry entries which needs to be deleted {need to dig deep} though not updated since long ago for the latest versions! :shutup:Also Dont forget to delete this key if you're on Windows 7/8.1 64 bit Architecture!HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{07999AC3-058B-40BF-984F-69EB1E554CA7}I am unable to embed the given link locally as atm forum is unable to handle the large set of instructions each time resulting in 500 0r SQL Query error!
