Alhaitham
Because1- People change browsers all the time2- A lot of forums have like a hidden rule that a poll should be updated if it is a year old, that's from personal experience

Alhaitham
When people change browsers what stops them from posting the previous poll? That would not show the difference between then and now, we wouldn't be able to compareMy personal experience is that duplicity is moderated and one of the 2 unwanted thread is closed - this rule is not hidden. The hidden part concerns "one year old poll"If a normal threat is a duplicate, the newer one gets closed/deleted/mergedIf a poll is a duplicate and the older one is more than a year old, the older one gets closedA lot of forums have that Edited April 18, 2014 by Alhaitham
dcs18
That would not show the difference between then and now, we wouldn't be able to compareWhy not???One can delete one's previous vote and update the same - not essential to have a new poll for that (this is the 3rd poll on browsers.) dcs18
Right!!!You just answered for yourself - now, just do the maths and you'll find the answer from situation 1 is equal to the one in situation 2. Therefore, what's the point in creating situation 2 - it's only going to cause a loss of all those wise words and re-duplication of the silly ones. dcs18
You're already for late for 2014 by more than 3 months - so, that argument about comparing this years share with that of 2013 is no longer valid.
