Dear Readers,

Just thought I'd 'update' the previous Poll which was conducted in '07 and very outdated.

So this is a more up to date list of the widespread browsers, and of course, there's also a "Other" for you to pick and specify (if you comment), as I mainly pulled the ones that are on here, alongside with IE/Safari.

The dominant winner from the previous Poll was FireFox, will that still hold true?

And the first vote (Mine) will got o FireFox =)

Similar to Marik's post:

Chrome = no contest.

I reverted back to ie7, been using that for my forum duties. Chrome still kills everyone else :)

Will think about Chrome when it supports Addons...

Bizarre™

I will probably switch to Chrome if it supports FF plug-ins + Greasemonkey.

Firefox with a few well chosen and handy addons,,,,xmarks for one is brilliant to sync all your bookmarks across your computors :P

never have to back them up or loose them again :D

plus the greasemonkey scripts are very handy for seeing dead or live links on a page.

last would be downloadhelper if i want to save a youtube clip for later viewing offline :)

Microsoft ?.. who's that?..LOL

I must have already voted or something..but anyway Fav by list..and most used..

FF3

Chrome3

IE8

Opera9

Safari4

Right now Safari4 is the slowest on my machine,

I have modified all of my browsers to be fast..except Chrome, and Safari remain untouched. Safari remains slow until a cache is built but rendering time for pages seems to be a little to be desired...

Overall I like the browsers..I covered what I don't like about my browser(s) in another thread..

For those of you who may be experiencing slowness in IE8.. I found this today.. and I updated through Microsoft Update then nabbed the installer for archive purposes.. but I found that this little tweak changed IE8 back to what I remember from the performance of the Beta version, I mean if you have it for necessary reason why not be able to properly load Windows Update and other tabs.. I really did not know I had the issue until last month, why it occurred I don't know.. but nevertheless if you have IE8 .. it can't hurt anything but good to check it before and after.
