Anyone noticed the REPT version seems to include way more than usuall when monitoring installs?

I wonder if it's just my system or something others have seen too.

I think it was down to seeing lots of Comodo fw rules. Not used to comodo with TU. Am used to Outpost.

TU is still working great for me, no problems.

I have done some tests with versions "6.2.0" "6.3.4 Portable" "6.3.4 Repack" and "6.4.1" of Total Uninstall in windows 7 x64, monitoring the install of Cyberlink powerDvD and then uninstalling it. (every time I'm going to do a test I do a clean install of windows 7 in vmware)

Total Uninstall 6.2.0

It monitors well the install and it can see the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cyberlink\PowerDVD14] and all the subregistries.

I have closed Total Uninstall and then i launch it, and i pick in the option programs installed "Cyberlink", it can see all the subkeys under the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cyberlink\PowerDVD14]

Total Uninstall 6.3.4 Portable

It monitors well the install and it can see the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cyberlink\PowerDVD14] and all the subregistries like 6.2.0

I have closed Total Uninstall, then I launch it, and i pick in the option programs installed "Cyberlink", it can not see all the subkeys under the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cyberlink\PowerDVD14]

it can see only one subkey so it can not see all the subkeys which are 13 subkeys (i am not sure)

Total Uninstall 6.3.4 Repack

It can not see the Key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cyberlink\PowerDVD14]

I have closed Total Uninstall, then I launch it, and i pick in the option programs installed "Cyberlink", it can not see all the subkeys under the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cyberlink\PowerDVD14] it can see only one subkey so it can not see all the subkeys which are 13 subkeys (i am not sure)

Total Uninstall 6.4.1

It monitors well the install and it can see the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cyberlink\PowerDVD14] and all the subregistries like "6.2.0" and 6.3.4 Portable"

I have closed Total Uninstall, then I launch it, and i pick in the option programs installed "Cyberlink", it can see the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cyberlink\PowerDVD14] but only one key so it can not see all the subkeys which are 13 subkeys (i am not sure)

In conclusion:

6.2.0: Monitors and uninstalls very well, it can see under [wow6432Node]

6.3.4 Portable: Monitors very well

Uninstalls wrong because when it analyzes cyberlink in the option of programs installed, it can not see under [wow6432Node]

6.3.4 Repack: Can not see under the [wow6432Node] in the monitoring neither in the uninstalling

6.4.1 Monitors very well, it can see under [wow6432Node]

Uninstalls bad because it can not see under [wow6432Node] when it analyzes cyberlink

i'm deeply sorry for any inconvenience caused by this, as the crack is proved futile after 30 days of usage.

Just by curiosity went to see ( posted by @Player- post 106) how patch works and :--» Does not work on a Windows 7 Pro SP1 (x64) , but says patch was done, and as already said, uninstalls almost nothing.

All we need is a valid serial...otherwise is a case to forget.

hi guys, i was reading the whole bunch of post, I guess there is any misunderstanding,

to say it clear, there are 2 different way how to deal with it.

1. validate serial and "workaround" like in the past versions (FukenGruven)

2. RepT (JohnWho) "memory" patch - good way how to make it, nice work, it is working many just forget

  • that you need admin rights,
  • make sure you have exception from virusscanner

Both ways are working, but completely different ways.

Most of us are NOT updating the last FukenGruven (portable) x86/x64 version wokrs fine :) it's not necessary, just cosmetic - no essential code.

When a new MAJOR version will come out, you can be sure we will take care of it.

Still get "REPT" :s

for me, it's only on the about screen. previously it also appeared in 'Uninstall profile' and 'Uninstall' buttons.

All we need is a valid serial...otherwise is a case to forget.

won't a serial be banned upon multiple online verification?

You give me a valid serial and I will show you how to do in order to avoid being blacklisted .

Cheers

validated serial, if someone have - post to Fuken :)

it is easy - just replace in portable versions (FukenGruven) the key - you are fine ;)

someone there

I can help it no matter, I cleaned my system and uninstall the totaluninstalle and use registry cleaner and trash reg but still my machine is black listed and every time the total uninstaller refuses to analyze the installed programs and not working ..

What are the hidden reg keys that left behind and can't be found?

This is a real challenge for me to get rid of all traces of total uninstall

why JohnWho doen't make a keygen instead "memory patch"?. it will be better

it's like "Why the crackers don't make Keygen for Windows 8.1 or MSO 2013" :s

  • 2 weeks later...

I have Tu v6.3.1 and works well with windows firewall blocking rules, BUT when I install ESS and make rules for remote IP Address range form-to, Tu detect it and kills my registration. Now I'm confused why is that happening with ESS firewall ???

That's really strange! Have you (or anybody) found out why?

Not yet but now I;m on Tu v6.3.4 and I notice that if you have ESET firewall in interactive mode and launch Total Uninstall, if you block it with firewall it will kill your registration, but if you ignore firewall prompt and don't take any action while TU is runing, everything is ok. The point is to not block and not allow TU while it runing
