AlexCross
Uninstall the realtek hight definition audio from device manager, and than scan for changes, and it will reinstall it. If it doesn't work, get your drivers from realteck site.

Restart PC Windows will install driver for you3. However Windows usually install their own driver or not updated Realtek driver4. Go to the realtek page install right sound card driver suitable your hardware cause you find different driver chose the right one.!http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/
Cerberus
I would also check your bios to make sure your audio is enabled if built on the motherboard. Just a suggestion.
Linus
You can try running sfc /scannow in cmd as admin.Maybe one of your system files might have been corrupted or got deleted.
