freeforever03
I just installed Firefox 29.0 Beta 1 and ran into a problem. I use the forecastfox add on and it appears to be incompatible with this new version. Originally I had forecastfox v2.2.2 and found that it did not work with Firefox 29.0 Beta 1. I then found that forecastfox had an updated version (2.2.4). I then installed this new version and it doesn't seem to work either. The add-on bar, at the bottom of the Firefox display, is gone and I do not see a way to restore it.

I recommend using the dev version that's located in the "Development Channel" dropdown at the bottom of this page.https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ Edited March 19, 2014 by spudboy

ben01
New UI is fine for because it's minimalistic yet highly customizable.

dcs18
For me, the V29 has evoked a bag of mixed reactions from deep within, reminiscent of the very first time when I'd installed Windows 8 with it's mongrel Metro, hating and spewing venom all over the internet highway.First impression of the V29 was of violence - I'm surprised nobody has remarked about the introduction of Australis that Mozilla have actually foisted upon us. Now, I wanted to be hurling bricks at them 'cause the Australis made my sexy 3rd party theme start looking like an haggard old violated whore. Have been up (no pun, here) the entire of today attempting to bring beauty back to the beast - it's all been an exercise in failure.Have just reset the damn profile and voilà . . . . . . . . . . Australis does begin to look far better with the default Firefox skin - still looks like a moll, albeit a tad polished one at that. This fight ain't over, yet . . . . . . . Mozilla - just calls for some more serious plastic surgery. Tomorrow is another day - tonight is a long night. dcs18
I'm almost done modding Australis and she's turning out quite well for my personal use - can't yet be deploying to Customers in the present state (shall take about a week or so for that to happen.)BTW, this release is a major version - actually an upgrade, not update and those who start on a clean slate are sure to gain good mileage out it.Did I mention - Australis is perceptibly faster than it's predecessors? ^_^
