[beta Testing] KIS2014->KIS2015MP1 [14.0.5.45]

As result of the forum discussions and internal research activity a special research project was launched, in scope of which we are planning to carry out development activities in order to improve the usability of our product based on user feedback.

The development will be based on KIS2014 and organized in iterations, builds (beta) will be posted in this thread. Most affordable improvements within this project will be transferred to the next versions of KIS2015 - KIS2015 MR1 according to results of a discussion - so please take an active part in the testing and please don’t hesitate express your wishes and opinions. From our side we are committing to take all responses into account.

Changes is scope of the first iteration:

1. Application control management UI performance

a. Fixed: slow update of the application start list and restriction tree. Major performance improvements in almost all user scenarios. Link1

2. Application control management UI usability

a. Fixed: inconvenient sorting of the application restriction tree. Restriction groups now have higher priority than application, so there are not interferes with applications. Application groups are collapsed by default. Link1, Link2.

b. Fixed: inconvenient sorting of the application launch control list. Allow and Block groups are not applicable to sorting.

c. Fixed: no icon for not existing or unavailable applications. Default application (by extension) icon used now.

d. Improved: tooltips with info about application on hover application by mouse cursor, tooltips for column text that no fit in column.

e. Improved: added ability to change restriction group from context menu for application groups.

f. Improved: multiply selection operations added - ability to delete/move/change selected applications. Link1,Link2

g. Improved: a number of minor changes –default columns layout in application launch control, visualization of the user changed applications, tabs highlighting, search pattern highlighting in search results etc.

h. New: ability to add application before it first launch. Link1.

i. New: ability to on demand cleanup non-existing applications. Link1.

j. New: ability to copy application info of the selected applications to clipboard with Ctrl+C. Link1.

3. Application digital signature control

a. New: feature preview.

b. New: Ability to mark digital signature as trusted or not from context menu of application. Application with trusted signature will be placed in trusted group in spite of their state in KSN or AV detect. Link1.

To install the build please download all files in this folder and run setup.exe.[There are 10 files, all must be located in the same directory!]

If chance have time please, provide New: Ability to mark digital signature as trusted or not from context menu of application. Application with trusted signature will be placed in trusted group in spite of their state in KSN or AV detect. Link1. doesn't seem to work
