Roger D
Recently, I bought a new DELL Touch Laptop with Windows 8.1 Preinstalled. It has 2GB AMD Graphics and Intel HD Graphics. And In Desktop Context menu, there is link for control panel of both the graphics..But in Ccleaner window I can see only Intel graphics..In System Information, it clearly shows both the graphics..Now when I tried switchable graphics control panel to ensure running some of Applications under AMD Graphics, viz a media player, Splash Pro EX( selected the Performance option over power saving option).. and played a video file in Splash Pro..when I checked the GPU usage through AMD System Monitor , it didn't show any Gpu activity.. :(then As SlimRock stated that driver for AMD might not be pre installed..I downloaded the stable driver and installed it..but after that when I restarted my system i got BSOD..well after 2-3 BSOD my system started running but now I couldn't even open the switchable graphics control panel... :( :(After that much Headache... I finally rolled back my system to previous state..Thanks to AX64 Time Machine.. :rolleyes:Now plz can you guys help me to figure out what really is going inside..?Is it possible to switch to AMD only? orShould I leave my system as it is?? Edited February 27, 2014 by Roger D

Roger D
Now It seems after reinstalling the driver from Dell website, the issue has resolved.. :rolleyes:This is how i checked..I added Splash Pro to the list to run under Performance in switchable graphics option.. then Played a video file in Splash Pro and run AMD System Monitor to observe the GPU usage..  it's working.. :showoff:Now if i disable Intel Graphics in Device Manager.. Then the default graphics switches to MS Basic Displaty Driver.. :(and this old version of AMD System Monitor has now started problem.. If I run it, the whole system gets hang.. I can't play any video file or open a picture.. :duh:So going to uninstall it..
