Win7nerd Posted February 25, 2014 Share Posted February 25, 2014 OK so here my issue, i have windows 8.1, but i upgraded to 8.1 and its slow as fuck, now my issue is i don't know what version i should use, i have an OEM version, im aware of the thread of windows 8 repository, but i want to make a clean install (per say) of 8.1 instead of upgrading again. any help don't be stupid and lead me to some site that's not very thorough :/ (sorry just had a long day) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Windows 8 or 8.1 activation is maintained on Your Windows account. If You have installed and you used not activation key, but only key to install, then log in with windows account and change the installing key to activation key and after some time Your windows is activated again.But if it's slow, but everything works, then is something else wrong.Most likely, it is necessary to deal with the cleaning, defragmenting, etc works.
