I'm experiencing reduced image quality when a picture is set to desktop background.If there's any setting which will allow to set backgrounds without loosing the image's original quality, what is it? SlimRock Posted February 24, 2014 Share Posted February 24, 2014 I think you need to make sure you change the image dimensions to match that of what your screen resolution exactly is e.g. Images with Scaled resolutions: 1680x1050,1440x900 and 1024x640 pixels will have reduced visual appearance if you are going to use them on 1920x1080 display, check if your monitor is calibrated correctly also you need to have a better Graphics card to get the best out of the windows in visual appearance! :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Peet Posted February 25, 2014 Share Posted February 25, 2014 Windows 7 had a limit on how large the file-size could be (256KB) ... anyone know if this is still the case for Windows 8.x?
