You have the installer saved, but tomorrow when you'll try to reregister it might fail, it says in the description that if you want to reinstall it or to get updates for the next major version you can get it with 40% discount. If the current installation would have given you a key or something like that, it would be fine, but it didn't :p

Go to C:\ProgramData\ABBYY\Retail.ScreenshotReader\9.00 and open AbbyyAdvertisingMessages2.xml with editor, remove the content between the "advertisement" brackets, save the file and make it read-only.

Later it looks like this, not perfect but much better

Normally you simply could disable it in the registry with false but that will not work since the entry will always be overwritten

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ABBYY\Retail.ScreenshotReader\9.00\Options]

"ShowAdvertizingPane"="true"

The problem is that you can't reinstall it :P

Backup the ABBYY folder in C:\ProgramData\ and copy it back after reinstall.
