Dear Readers,

I know I probably shouldn't be asking for htis but I just can't find it.

Does anyone happen to know where I can find an up-to-date copy of this (With SP2) and unattended? As the one that I found "SuperiorXP64" is a bit too much for me, as I don't need all that pre-installed stuff, along with other things that are installed /removed.

So I just thought to ask if anyone knows where I can find a unattended copy with SP2 and works (can update with no worries)

Thanks.

I have a few links but they all include extra things like drivers or some applications which you probably don't need. Why not use an untouched XP and just integrate the SP2 or SP3 yourself. It is very easy, I could help you if you want.

x32 is better for home users(like me, and you, probably), but as you stated you wanted x64 I thought it would be a waste of my time to point that out :P

Do you have a Genuine Windows XP Professional license? :)

Contrary to popular belief, 64bit OS provides absolutely zero performance enhancements whatsoever. NONE. In reality 64bit means 2 things, your system can address more than 4GB of RAM, and your CPU can count numbers using 64bit precision aka more significant figures or numbers behind a decimal point.

I would like to point out that if you put a 64bit system on 4GB of ram you will lose more RAM. It's like this, a 32bit OS uses a part of the 4GB of RAM to store addresses for 4GB of RAM which is why you only see around 3.25GB of RAM even when you have 4GB physical RAM. That is 2 to the power of 32 different addresses that need to be stored. Imagine having to store 2 to the power of 64 addresses, it will reserve more RAM to do this. With this in mind you should only use a 64bit OS if you have more than 4GB, not if you have exactly 4GB. Personally I would say don't waste your time unless you plan to use 8GB or more.
