undeleted_xp
I only use NOD32, it handles the viruses and those pesky spywares.

Administrator Lite Posted October 16, 2005 Administrator Share Posted October 16, 2005 I like the affliate links on the downloads.... Those reviews are flawed. The guy makes money off every purchase. Its obvious the greatest affliate money = higher ranking.

Pako Jones
Actually I get no spyware, but I'm administrator of a computer that's used by several people, so...I've been an user of Ad-Aware SE Pro for a time. Great results, but ad-watch has to be tweaked so it doesn't popup from time to time due to registry changes, etc. So I recently switched to Windows Defender, with very few popups and... so far so good. nsane
i use it for my real-time protection, but for full scans i use an array of different programs
OhMyGod
NOD32 definitions files are updated with spyware signatures also.Does anyone rely on NOD32 as antispyware?I've seen Nod32 block spyware communication while I'm browsing the web.I don't completely rely on it alone, I use SpySweeper as real-time.And all of the above.I don't get spyware very often, but I like to have protection just in case.I'm a computer programmer and know about malware, you can't always remove them allby yourself or with just one program. There are new malwares that inject themselves intowindows dll files and go un-noticed unless you have a real-time scanner to detect them.I had a friend who thought he couldn't get malware with Firefox and never would use a spyware scanner, but he got that NSIS worm from updating a trusted extension. Now he uses one or two now.Thanks. ;)
