Open cmd as admin and type diskpart

-Type "list disk" and check the number of the disk your usb drive is associated

-Type "select disk X" where x is the number of the disk

-Type "list volume" and check the number of the volume like you did before

-Type "select volume X" where x is the number of the volume

-Type "clean"

-Type "assign letter=X" where X is any letter you want to be associated with your usb drive

-Type "create partition primary"

-Type "format quick"

And boom, it should be working again.

It says "DiskPart has encountered an error: The system cannot find the file spesified. Seethe System Event Log for more information."

So, whats next?

Either persevere & try to find the correct tools that may assist by re-flashing the corrupted firmware....

Or use the "Drag & Drop" method.... IE take stick to near by open garbage bin ..etc.. :)

Damn, these usually work without a problem.

I even corrupted one of my usb drives with rufus and i was able to recover it with diskpart.

Is it recognized on the disk manager?

If it is, try this tool:

HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool - http://www.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php?p=123786&t=4&i=1

What error did it return?

(I'm starting to think that you really should dump it in the bin :D)
